# Task brief

> Reader exercise template / not real business material. This brief defines an offline fictional practice only.

- Why: make one small request traceable from starting material to a human handoff decision
- Input: the two read-only starting inputs and, in section 7.9, the deliberately introduced later-change copy
- Allowed actions: read, compare, draft, record sources, retain old and new values, and repair only affected sentences
- Prohibited actions: network use, login, upload, deletion, overwrite of originals, sending, publishing, or deciding for a responsible person
- Result: a request card, three drafts, a check record, a handoff slip, a consistency table, a human gate checklist, and a retrospective
- Human acceptance: a person opens the files, checks facts and unknowns, and decides whether work may proceed
- Stop line: before sending or publishing, with four pending decisions still visible
